So, I'm bored, and I fill like I should start posting again. This is me, making an attempt. Lets see how long it lasts. The smart money is on less than a month.
Tonight I got into a fight with my ex-boyfriend's parents. Over msn. Sometimes, I amaze even myself.

Okay, so this is a repeat for most of y ou, becuase you have probably read Paul's post, but updatying my LJ is on my list of things to get done today.
so, sunday, ribfest, Paul socializing wiht my dad, taking the really long way to cambridge, including dirt roads and everything, sex in pauls basement, sleeping in the very cozy guest bedroom (his mom left the bedside light on for me), a very nice homemade quilt.
monday: the best jam ever! (homemade pear), the drive up to dorset, really good burgers, mindtrap in the car with pauls family (so cool), ATV's (its actually quite ridiculous how much these machines turn me on), the cottage, swimming, introduction to the outhouse, exploring the island, campfire, smores, full moon, all around good times.
Tuesday: the hammock (<3), canoeing, naming the islands (pete and jack), skinny dipping off of jack, sex in the lake, sex on jack, lunch, ridiculously good make out sessions that got rudely interupted, more canoeing, the discovery of dave, bob, and josh (i think it was josh, but right now the name escapes me), drifting on the lake, campfire, better smores
Wednesday: hiking, going to visit a lovely little water fall, swimming, washing of the hair in the lake, trips out in the canoe again, this time sex in the canoe, lots of drifting, siesta with paul, musical renditions of songs while listening to my ipod that lasted well into the night

but, on the bright side, i think the weekends goign to be fun.

So a lot has happened since i last updated. I gave my notice, went back to days for two weeks, and am now officially free of tim hortons. I really hope i never have to work their ever again.
I decided to tell my Dad about Paul. It was rather emotional, but im glad i did it. And he's letting me go to the cottage.
SO, this means that tomorrow Paul is coming down to go to rib fest, and then we are goign to his house, and monday we leave! I can't wait, its goign to be so much fun. I haven't really had a vacation in two years, let alone one with someone i really love in a place that sounds amazing.
I get back thursday night, then on the following tuesday, me, frank and dad leave for Nova Scotia, where the rest of my summer is going to be spent. By the time we get back, there will be a couple days at home, which will probably involve lots of unpacking, laundry, then re-packing, and then I will move into res that sunday. Overall, the rest of the summer should fly by.
I can't wait to get out to NS, the only hard part will be the time away from Paul, but at least when i get to see him again, I will actually be living in guelph. According to my countdown, there are 28 days til move in day. I never thought i woudl get this close. Its almost here!

So, i just got my AP marks in the mail. I wasn't expecting them until the third week of july, so its quite a pleasant surprise. THe results:
Lang - 3
Lit - 4
I realize that this probably doesn't really mean anything to you guys, so allow me to interperate:
A 3 is the equivolent of ~B-C grade in a university course. A 4 is the equivolent of ~A-B grade. Guelph grants credits to a 4 or above.
So yay. I have a university credit.

11:00 am - Best. Weekend. Ever.

Not only was my 18th birthday my best so far, but it just happened to take place on the best weekend of my life. What was supposed to be one night (saturday) at 866, quickly turned into 3(fri, sat, sun).
I'd just like to say a huge thanks to tehjai for letting us use her room while she was in pembrooke. Thank you SO much

Overall it was a truely amazing weekend. if this was a preveiw of what my year is going to be like, then i can't wait.

Today was my last day of high school classes. I graduate in 10 days, and it diffenetly hasn't hit me yet.
Today was also sports day, which i didn't partipate in, and instead sat around and listened to music with Matt, so it was a good day.
For the part of the day with classes, i had my bought and paid for prefect, emily bradley follow me around. For those of you who dont know (which is basically all of you), prefects are like the student council, and emily bradley is this extremely conservative girl who wins all these debating awards and doesn't like the show reboot, so i decided to dress her up as a communist and make ker carry around her debate trophies with her all day. I think the high point was when my physics teacher made her get up and tell the class about how good communism is for ten minutes.
Oh, i also made her a little reboot logo and made her 'reboot' when she did things, like sit down, etc.
Overall, it prooved to be an entertaining day, and a nice end to high school.
Of course, bc sports day was outside, i managed to burn my shoulders in the big 15 minutes i was in the sun. lovely. oh well.
So, now i just have to write 6 exams, and then i am done high school forever! i cant wait, bc being done high school puts me one step closer to university, or as i like to call it, freedom.
In a totally unrelated topic, i have somehow managed to accidentally set up my best friend with a guy from my school. I am not sure how i managed it, but it seems to all be working out.. who knows what will happen...

Wow, it seems like so much has happened in the past week, i really need to post realy updates more. Okay, so thursday was my house dinner at jack astors. I was in the area a little early, so i headed over to value village to kill some time. When i was there, i found the most ridiculous pair of shoes i have ever seen. They are 7" stripper shoes, with clear plastic heels and holographic money on the strap. THey are the same style as the ones below, but as i said, the strap has something different on it.
When i got back to school, i wore them around my house, and everybody wanted to try them on, they are so much fun.
At the house dinner, they give out paper plate awards to everyone. Mine was 'we're just friends' becuase i always have to tell everyone that about me and ryan.
Then, on friday, i decided to get my tragus peirced. For those of you who don't know what exactly a tragus is, i included another picture:
I went with Matt, who was very tolerent of the fact that i killed his hand. It didn't hurt as much as i thought it would, and the main reason it did hurt was becuase they have to peirce it slowly so they dont puncture your cheek. Now that i have it i absolutely love it, i will try and get a picture of mine up as soon as i can.
After i got back from downtown, i had to go to grad dinner. This is basically another superfluous ridley event, but was pretty fun anyways. All the seniors go to dinner with the housemasters and MOD's, then there are speaches, and then we all walk across the feild to middle school, lead by a piper (i know, it sounds pretty hokey, but its actually really nice). THen there were fireworks, followed by a trip to the theater where we saw now and then photos and the video yearbook. All in all, it was a good time.
Because the grad dinner went so late, i ended up sleeping at school, which sadly, is much more enjoyable then sleeping at home.
Overall, its been a good couple days. Tonight i am supposed to go see X3, i hope its good...
I'll try to update more, but its hard because my school has the website blocked.

oh, and the reason i haven't posted in so long is becuase they blocked eljay at school, and i have been too busy lately anyways. there are officially one month and six days left until i graduate. i cant wait.
and now i am exhausted.

I hate Sundays. They are stupid and pointless and rather mocking. I feel oblilgated to stay home on them, becuase i have school the next day, but i never end up getting that much work done becuase its still the weekend. To make matters even more fun, my mother appears to be upset because i want to go to my school-run celebratory grad dinner alone.
To be perfectly honest, i'v had it. Tomorrow morning at 8 i write my first AP exam. This week is going to be brutal and i have no energy to waste trying to make her feel better about something that i want.
Everyone around me is so stressed, and i am so tired of it. I don't have time for this. ugh. why cant high school be over? what is the point in making it continue those last two months when everyone has already heard from universities? No one has any motivation anyways.
oh well
At least Paul came down this weekend :)
Unfortunetaly, if he doesn't come down again on wednesday, i wont see him again for about 3 weeks.
Next weekend is cadet ball (my equivolent of Prom) friday night, clothing show saturday, and church parade sunday.
The weekend after that i am in Toronto all weekend with school reach.
ughh.
sometimes i hate being busy.
oh well. onward, to the language exam!
